Submitting Your Website to the Search Engines |

Many people do not realize they can submit their websites to the search engines themselves rather than counting on their website company to do it for them. What's more, some companies charge an outrageous fee to do this. To top it off some companies actually charge their clients "$200 or more" (each month)(That's over $2,400 a year) to "resubmit their websites to the search engines". In most cases the website company actually does absolutely nothing for this month. After all, if you are introduced to Bob today, do you need to pay someone a two hundred dollars or more every month to reintroduce you to Bob? Of course not. Bob remembers you. Now substitute the name of any search engine into the proceeding sentences and you will realize that paying someone to submit your website to the search engines over and over again is a rip off. In other words, your website only needs to be submitted once. |

Below are the search engines we recommend your website should be submitted to. First, you can get visitors from each of these search engines who may buy your products or services. Second, being listed in these search engines creates an inbound link to your website from that search engine which helps increase your websites rankings. |

We do offer a website submission service for those whose sites are going to be competing in a very competitive market. But it's different than the list below. The list below is the most common search engines and we submit our clients websites to these for free anyway. What we offer (if needed) to have one of our staff spend a day working for you (We do not take a dime of markup on this service) and "hand submit" your website to a list of search engines and directories that it took us months to research and compile. No automated service can "fill" in the blanks, find your category, etc... accurately and so automated services are a waste of time (Some search engines actually penalize you if you use them). No what our staff member can do for you is hand fill in every form, search by hand for the appropriate category for your business listing, etc to our list of search engines and directories (The list is currently over 10 pages of links and growing). You do not pay us (No markup). Instead you pay them directly. Unless your are competing on a world wide scale for something like the word "watches" you should ever need to be resubmitted. Once is enough. And as mentioned, it is a completely optional service. |

| We believe that for most people having a blog is a waste of time and energy. It does very little to attract new visitors to your site. On the other hand we highly recommend going to other people's blog and add comments to their blogs that include a link back to your website. Google will see the links to your website and move your website higher in the rankings as a result. |
